Advice for facing severe ageism from older adults?

I think that's rude, and as an older adult I really can't stick up for her. Wth was she doing suggesting a pink phone? I'm guessing you look really young for your age and she didn't take you seriously. I know that when I was 19 I felt like an adult, was an adult, and she should have treated you like one.
