Granite countertop island installation?

i bought a beautiful kashmir white granite slab that is 8 ft long and 35" deep with an arch shape extension along one of the 8 foot sides that makes it 4 feet deep at the widest point. i plan on putting a row of base cabinets under it with the arch shap going out of the backside and into the dining area to put stools under it. i bought this from a place that had it cut for a different customer but it was cut wrong for them so i got it at a great price so i couldnt resist. also it doesnt include installation. soooo how the heck do i do this? obviously you dont screw it down.... do i glue it or something? and will all that overhang be too heavy on its own with no support? i could maybe put decorative brackets along the back. but also it will be back-heavy so i am guessing those cabinets will need to be attached real well to the floor so the granite doesnt tip everything backwards.
